Croydon College and Coulsdon Sixth Form College celebrated the fantastic achievement of their students who received their results today. The colleges saw a notable improvement on last year’s Level 3 results, which were released to students this morning.

Highlights from across the group include:

  • An increase in overall BTEC Level 3 pass rates at Croydon College, with 18% of all entries achieving the top grades of D or D*
  • Superb achievement in the Creative Arts at Croydon with 12 students achieving Distinction* across the board.
  • At Coulsdon, 100% pass rates were achieved by A Level students studying Art, Textiles, Further Maths, English Language and Literature, Media, Photography and Geography.

CEO and Group Principal Caireen Mitchell said: “Today we celebrate the hard work and commitment of our students. This cohort faced challenges to their learning during the COVID-19 lockdowns, and today’s results are testament to the students’ resilience and determination to succeed.

“We have seen some incredible individual achievements today from many students who may well be the first in their families to go to university and have shown real grit and determination to succeed. I need to thank our dedicated staff who have committed so much of themselves to helping our students achieve and improve their opportunities in life.”

There is still time to apply to study A Levels, BTECs and T Levels at Coulsdon and Croydon Colleges this September.
