National Apprenticeship Week is taking place from Monday 7 February to Sunday 13 February 2022 – the aim of the week is to shine a light on the amazing work being done by employers and apprentices across the country.
To celebrate National Apprenticeship Week, the World of Work team at Croydon College has created a week-long programme of events that offers participants the opportunity to discover apprenticeships, hear from employers and apply for a wide range of vacancies available to everyone.
Apprenticeships are an exciting option for both apprentice and employer.
The benefits of becoming an apprenticeship can be so rewarding – you get hands-on training and the chance to put your skills into practice whilst earning a wage whilst you learn and gain the right skills and qualifications for your chosen career.
For employers, apprenticeships are a great way to grow your business with government funding support and training provided by our specialist tutors and you can either employ a new member of staff or upskill an existing employee to gain new qualifications to grow their career within your company.
Apprenticeships are available in a wide range of subjects and are available to all ages and skill levels from 16 years upwards. There are many to choose from and some include a qualification, like a degree.
