Online Learning in Understanding Common Childhood Illnesses – Level 2 TQUK
Childhood is often marked by various illnesses, some of which are especially common among babies and young children. For anyone working with children in early years settings, a thorough understanding of these common conditions is essential. This knowledge not only ensures that unwell children receive the appropriate care but also helps prevent the spread of illness.
This course provides learners with comprehensive insights into common childhood illnesses. It covers how to maintain a safe and healthy environment, recognize signs of illness in babies and children, and manage both acute and chronic health conditions within an early years setting.
There are no specific entry requirements for this course; however, learners should possess at least a Level 1 qualification in literacy or an equivalent credential. Our Level 1 and 2 distance learning courses are available free of charge for those eligible for government funding, provided you meet the following criteria:
- Age Requirement: Must be 19 years or older.
- Age 19-23: You must hold a full Level 2 qualification or higher, such as five GCSEs or O Levels at grades A-C (or 9-4), two or three AS Levels, one A Level, NVQ Level 2, First Certificate, or Principles of Learning Level 2.
- Age 24 and Over: No qualifications are required. - Enrolment Status: You must not be enrolled in any other distance learning course with us,
- Residency Requirement: You must have been living in the UK for the last three years.
