Course Overview
This course allows learners to specialise in Visual Communication giving the learner the opportunity to develop transferable skills related to study and vocational application that provide a platform for success both within Creative Industries and elsewhere.

Assessment
Assessment of the internal and external units for this course is designed to fit the purpose and objective of the course– giving learners the opportunity to demonstrate skills developed in applied scenarios. All units are graded to encourage skills development and performance. Units are assessed using a grading scale of Distinction, Merit, Pass and Unclassified. Grading has been introduced at this level as a result of feedback from users and practitioners of the qualification.
Entry Requirements
Level 1 qualification or two GCSE at Grade 4-9.
A portfolio of work, containing recent examples of artwork, sketchbooks, photography work or creative work you have done. This could be both course work and work you have created in your own time.
