Course Overview

A useful part-time Academic English (ESOL) courses designed to help you improve the skills you need to progress academically and professionally in UK.

Taught over one evening per week, by a specialist English teacher. Their job is to help you develop the Academic skills you need to secure a good score at IELTS assessment.

In addition to fun classes, the course includes plenty of opportunities for you to join in with college life and attend useful employability and cultural events at the College.

In addition to classes, you are expected to undertake at least three hours of guided study at home each week and undertake regular essay-style written assignments.

Assessment

You are assessed regularly with progress charted on a personal plan.  When you are ready and able, you are assessed using Mock IELTS exams. You can then choose if you want to take a live IELTS assessment.

High level English skills, evidenced at interview or by a C1, L2 qualification.
