Beauty Therapy – Level 2 Diploma – September Start
This course is designed for individuals aspiring to work in the beauty industry, providing the essential knowledge and skills for facial skincare, eyelash and brow treatments, waxing, manicure and pedicure services, makeup application, client care and health and safety protocols.

3 GCSEs grade 9-3 (A*-D) or a related Level 1 vocational qualification including, English and maths. Equivalence of these qualifications will be considered. Mature applicants may be considered on relevant experience without having the required entry requirements. However, an interview and a maths and English assessment will always be required.
You’ll have the opportunity to develop hands-on skills in popular treatments like facial skincare, makeup application, and manicure/pedicure, all while gaining an understanding of essential health and safety standards. Students learn how to perform effective consultations with clients, assessing their needs and preferences, recommending appropriate treatments, and ensuring a high standard of customer care throughout the process.
On completion, you can progress onto Level 3 Beauty Therapy or Level 2 Hairdressing or enter employment with an apprenticeship. You can pursue roles such as beauty therapist, makeup artist, nail technician or skincare specialist in salons, spas and wellness centres.
The written assessments test your knowledge of theory, including topics like health and safety, client care and the science behind beauty treatments.You will demonstrate your skills in real-life scenarios, working with clients in a controlled environment to showcase your ability to perform various beauty treatments.
