Course Overview

This standard contains 2 roles in a core and options structure. Either role could be providing information in relation to in house pension schemes or externally to pension clients of the organisation. Neither role will provide financial advice.

Students will learn about providing information on pensions schemes for an organisation’s employees or clients.

The delivery of this course includes one day per week at Croydon College.

Assessment is through on and off the job training in

  • Apprenticeship Standard certificate in Pensions Essentials
  • Maths and English
  • Behaviour

Learners will be assessed through various forms plus

  • A reflective discussion
  • A portfolio

Entry Requirements

Students should have  GCSE grades A-C/9-4 in Maths and English.
