The overall review of this apprenticeship role is Identifying learning and training needs, designing and sourcing training and learning solutions, delivering and evaluating training.
Learning and Development Practitioners are typically involved with identifying learning / training needs, designing / sourcing training and learning solutions, delivering and evaluating training, and working with stakeholder / business area managers.
The L&D Practitioner will have an understanding of:
- Technical expertise
- Business and commercial understanding
- Management information and technology
- Training / Learning Design
- Training and Learning Delivery

Possibility of full-time employment after successful completion of this apprenticeship course or progression into a higher / degree level apprenticeship within a similar field.
Ongoing rigorous assessment which will include practical computer based assessments and are a great way for monitoring your progress and readiness for the apprenticeship End Point Assessment (EPA).
Math and English GCSEs C/4 or above ; Functional skills level 2
Whilst any entry requirements will be a matter for individual employers, typically an apprentice will have an area of technical, vocational or behavioural expertise in which the organisation needs others to acquire through training.
